The film "Apple Blossoms" is a joint production by the Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association Film Studio and the Hungarian Soleve Art Film Studio. The Hungarian National Film Institute provided funding. The film was co-written by Dang Thanh Binh and Szũcs Dóra, and directed by Szũcs Dóra.

The film tells the story of a young girl named Thien Nga who was chosen to study in Hungary in the 1970s.

Here, Thien Nga met, fell in love with and became pregnant with Tibor - a Hungarian student. Choosing to return home to keep the pregnancy, Thien Nga accepted to face the slander and criticism of that time.

About 40 years later, Song Ha - Thien Nga's granddaughter - went to Hungary in the hope of finding her grandfather Tibor. During this journey, she met a young man named Victor and fell in love with him.

The film was 80% shot in Hungary with many beautiful scenes such as the Danube River, museums, universities, and student dormitories. The remaining scenes were shot in Hanoi , Ninh Binh, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Actors participating in the film: Nari Nguyen, Koltai-Ngay Balázs, Dzhuliya, Suto Andras, People's Artist Lan Huong, People's Artist Nhu Quynh...

The film premiered in Hungary on February 15 and received support from the audience.
