Launching Website A80 - Proud of Vietnam to celebrate 80th National Day 2-9

(NLDO) - The website "A80 - Proud of Vietnam" was built with a joyful, modern festive spirit, bearing the cultural imprint of Thang Long - Hanoi.

On the morning of August 8, the Hanoi People's Committee officially launched the digital platform "A80 - Proud of Vietnam" including the website at https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn and the mobile application of the same name, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is one of the key activities in the series of commemorative events, demonstrating the elaborate, thorough and dedicated preparation of the Capital.

According to the Organizing Committee, "A80 - Proud of Vietnam" is designed as a centralized, unified and reliable digital information center, helping people in the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends to access timely and accurate information about the celebration. Content includes parade schedules, art programs, cultural and historical exhibitions; traffic control announcements, security and medical assurance; along with images, live TV videos and memorable moments shared by the community.

The website "A80 - Proud of Vietnam" was built with a joyful, modern festive spirit, bearing the cultural imprint of Thang Long - Hanoi. The main colors of red and yellow create a solemn, brilliant but intimate and inspiring atmosphere. The homepage features the image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence and the marching troops, depicting the sacred historical spirit.

Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, said that the layout of the sections is arranged scientifically and intuitively, from the list of events, the image and video library, to the digital map for real-time lookup. The website also integrates social networks to spread patriotic feelings and connect the community, while recreating Hanoi's cultural identity through images of iconic buildings and traditional art programs.

The A80 platform integrates many outstanding utilities such as: AI Chatbot acts as a "virtual assistant", providing event advice, directions, and creating real-time reminders; Interactive digital map, updating event locations, live LED screen locations, water points, restrooms, medical stations, rest and dining areas; Traffic warnings, route navigation for people to move safely and avoid congestion.
