The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census (RDC) will take place in 30 days, starting from July 1, 2025 to July 30, 2025 nationwide. This is one of the three largest statistical censuses, organized every 10 years, to collect comprehensive information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and the current status of rural development. The subjects of the survey include: workers, households, farms, enterprises, cooperatives participating in agricultural, forestry and fishery activities; Commune People's Committees. The census will be conducted using the method of comprehensive investigation combined with sample investigation, collecting information by direct interviews and collecting information indirectly from the survey units.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The 2025 Rural Development Census plays a very important role in the planning and management of socio -economic development policies in the locality, especially in the context of implementing the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels and implementing the 2-level local government model. The survey information will help Party committees and authorities at all levels have a complete and realistic view of the current situation of production, infrastructure, and rural people's lives, serving as a basis for building regional development strategies, developing agricultural production, building new rural areas, improving people's lives and ensuring social security in a sustainable manner.

Realizing the great significance of this, Thanh Hoa province has actively prepared for the Census. The Census Steering Committees at all levels have been strengthened, with clear assignments; detailed plans have been developed to ensure progress. The work of making lists, conducting field inspections, and selecting investigators and supervisors has been carried out systematically.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that immediately after the launching ceremony, localities and units in the province urgently deploy the work of organizing and collecting information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, no duplication, no omission; always keep confidential the information collected from the investigation units according to the provisions of the Law on Statistics.

Strengthen supervision of the survey area, and at the same time promote propaganda and widely disseminate to the people about the meaning, purpose and importance of the Census.
