Communication activities in Cat Hai special economic zone aim to effectively implement the goal of developing voluntary social insurance participants by 2025 of Hai Phong city.

Mobile propaganda on main roads

On July 28 and 29, Hai Phong Social Insurance organized a campaign to propagate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance in Cat Hai special zone.

This is a key communication activity, contributing to raising awareness and encouraging people to participate in voluntary social insurance, in order to effectively implement the goal of developing voluntary social insurance participants by 2025.

Social Insurance agency staff distribute propaganda leaflets to small traders.

The campaign was organized in many forms including mobile propaganda, centralized conferences and small group propaganda.

Social Insurance officers and employees conduct mobile propaganda on main roads; distribute leaflets and brochures about voluntary social insurance policies in residential areas, tourist areas, markets, bus stations, etc.

The Social Insurance Agency also organized a concentrated propaganda conference with the participation of nearly 100 people living in the Cat Hai special economic zone. The conference answered people's concerns and questions related to contribution levels, benefits, and conditions for receiving pensions when participating in voluntary social insurance...

After the conference, many people proactively registered to participate in voluntary social insurance and received direct support from the Social Insurance agency.

Propaganda to small traders

From July 1, 2025, people living in Cat Hai special economic zone will receive 50% support from the State for monthly voluntary social insurance contributions according to the poverty line in rural areas. The city will provide additional support for voluntary social insurance participants according to Resolution No. 12 of the City People's Council at the corresponding levels of 30%, 25% and 10% for poor households, near-poor households and other cases. However, the total support for voluntary social insurance contributions from the central government and the city for poor households, near-poor households and other cases in Cat Hai special economic zone is 80%, 75% and 60% respectively.
