He once failed the entrance exam for the University of Theatre and Film, so he switched to the Electronics department at the University of Industry. According to the rapper, that was just an excuse to go to the city to pursue his dream. "When I was really hungry, I did many jobs, from real estate sales, selling chicken eggs, driving a truck... But during that time, I was still deeply passionate about music," he recounted.

Tuan Cry began his career with a series of parody songs, among which "Nguoi La Oi" (Stranger) propelled him to internet fame. Later, realizing this path wasn't sustainable, he decided to pack his bags and move to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue his career, despite not knowing anyone at the time. Facing numerous difficulties, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, Tuan Cry reluctantly returned to his hometown. "During my time back in Bac Ninh, I researched the culture and began applying this formula," he recounted.

Tuan Cry admitted he was afraid of being overshadowed when working with Hoa Minzy.

One of the milestones in Tuan Cry's career was his collaboration with Hoa Minzy on musical projects. He recounted how he coincidentally befriended the 9X singer through an introduction from Masew. Afterward, Hoa Minzy requested a meeting, expressing her desire to work on larger-scale projects. “I researched extensively and realized that nothing compares to love for one's homeland, so I decided to write about Bac Ninh. We spent several months developing the idea,” he said.

Tuan Cry recounted that in the beginning, he was afraid his name would be overshadowed by being associated with Hoa Minzy. However, later, the rapper realized that "gratitude would outweigh anything" because "without Hoa Minzy, I wouldn't be where I am today." Tuan Cry added: "Her image has helped my brainchild achieve the greatest success. That's something I cherish very much."

Behind the spotlight, Tuan Cry leads a private life with his partner, who is also from the same hometown. He revealed that his wife's family is currently very proud of him, so they "show him off wherever they go." Regarding his musical direction after the "Bac Bling" craze, Tuan Cry shared that his dream remains to be on stage and express his unique musical style to the audience. He also has no intention of changing his stage name, despite many people advising against it for fear that the name might bring bad luck into his life.
