According to the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports are recording an impressive milestone, reaching 7.05 billion USD in the first 10 months of 2025, up 14.6% over the same period. This result shows a strong breakthrough not only in traditional markets but also in demanding markets such as the US, EU and the Middle East.
Specifically, exports to the US reached 454.5 million USD, up 58.3%; to South Korea reached 264.1 million USD, up 18.1%. In Europe, many markets recorded high growth rates such as the Netherlands up 31.8%, the UK up 50.8% and Germany up 54.5%. The Middle East also increased strongly, in which the UAE reached 97.4 million USD, up 51.8%.
Expanding the market helps reduce dependence on some traditional markets, while affirming the reputation of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables in the international market. The industry is aiming for an export turnover of 8.5 billion USD in 2025. However, to maintain growth momentum, businesses need to continue to improve quality, ensure traceability and diversify products.
