Real Madrid 'picks gold' from Bernabeu

Real Madrid enter the 2025/26 season with the biggest budget in its history: 1.248 billion euros in annual revenue, not including transfers. This figure shows a new development direction under President Florentino Perez, using the Bernabeu as a money-making machine.

According to an internal report, Real's revenue increased by 63.5 million euros compared to the previous season, equivalent to a 5% increase. The two factors that made the leap were the commercial activities of the Bernabeu and new sponsorship contracts. The stadium is now not only a symbol, but also the financial center of the club.

The 2024/25 season has proven that. Real Madrid's stadium business alone, excluding tickets or VIP areas, earned 79.1 million euros. Of which, the Bernabeu Tour brought in 52.6 million, events and concerts 15.4 million, and the restaurant chain 10.3 million. All this despite the stadium not being fully exploited.

Next season, Real expects a bigger step forward when the entire food court, VIP area and international events are put into operation. Revenue from the “Membership and Stadium” category is expected to increase from 326.8 million to 402.4 million euros.

On November 23, when they present this plan to the General Assembly, Real will send a clear message: the Bernabeu is a gold mine for the club. The stadium not only brings prestige, but also helps Real Madrid earn money even on non-match days.
