RMIT will award 106 scholarships totaling VND 51 billion to talented and determined young people from Vietnam and abroad.
The university will provide detailed information at the RMIT Scholarship Fund 2024 announcement event taking place at RMIT University Vietnam's South Saigon campus on January 14th with the message "Join RMIT in creating positive change".
According to the university representative, the RMIT 2024 scholarship program is for all young people who want to make a positive difference for themselves and their communities; who have the academic ability, talent, and aspirations to become leaders. The program also targets those who face financial barriers or physical limitations but are highly motivated to succeed.
The "Wings of Dreams" category involves collaboration with partner organizations to identify and award scholarships to promising, determined candidates who lack the resources to develop themselves. This scholarship program began in 2014 and has awarded scholarships to 34 students from across Vietnam, totaling over 56.6 billion VND.
In addition to covering 100% of the bachelor's program tuition fees, "Wings of Dreams" also includes monthly living expenses, expenses for visiting home (depending on the case), and tuition fees for English language and personal computer courses.

In addition to their substantial value, RMIT Vietnam's scholarship program is diverse in categories, creating opportunities for young people from different backgrounds. Furthermore, while studying at RMIT, students can also "hunt" for additional scholarships if they achieve excellent academic results.
As part of the event, RMIT also organized a session where students who had previously been admitted shared their experiences and tips on winning scholarships.
RMIT provides students with opportunities to fully express their abilities and personal interests through their studies and research. As a result, the university attracts many talented individuals pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with valuable scholarships, such as Tran Lam Nam Bao – a male student who redesigned a set of textbooks, Nguyen Thien Khiem – the "IELTS 8.0 hotboy," and Vu Hoang Trung – the valedictorian of RMIT with a 4.0/4.0 GPA.

Representatives from the RMIT alumni community who have received scholarships shared that they always encourage younger generations to boldly apply for opportunities. "Don't think you won't get a scholarship because you're not the one who decides. So, prepare your application well and seize this opportunity," the alumni shared.
This is also the message RMIT wants to send to applicants: "Together with the university, we create change, starting with self-confidence and being ready to accept the scholarship offer."
According to the university's statistics, young people who have received RMIT scholarships are now holding important positions in large domestic and international organizations and businesses such as Nestlé, KPMG, Lazada, UNICEF, etc.
The RMIT Vietnam alumni community comprises over 20,000 people, and more than 1,700 have received scholarships totaling over VND 513 billion. "The scholarship program is a clear testament to RMIT University's commitment to social development through education over the past 23 years," a university representative emphasized.
