LimX Dynamics - a technology company based in Shenzhen, China is causing a stir on social media when it released a new video introducing the capabilities of its most advanced humanoid robot, CL-3.
In the video, CL-3 is seen in an office environment, standing in front of a desk. It then quickly performs a series of warm-up movements, such as raising its arms to “stretch” and moving its head up and down, side to side.
It also performs other actions such as pulling its arms to its chest and rotating its hips from side to side. Near the end of the video, CL-3 performs other actions such as swinging its arms, bending to the side, and bending its arms.
Like previous videos, this new footage shows the CL-3 moving smoothly and realistically based on real human movements. The robot represents a significant step forward from its predecessors, the CL-1 and CL-2, with enhanced human-like mobility, dexterity, and movements.
According to Interesting Engineering , the CL-3 is about 164 cm tall and has 29-52 degrees of freedom (DoF), suggesting a highly articulated structure that allows for complex movements. One of the robot's notable mechanical features is its hollow actuator design, with high torque density actuators, allowing for full-body balance and a wide range of motion.
Like its predecessors, the CL-3 features built-in sensors and AI algorithms that enable real-time terrain recognition, allowing the robot to autonomously navigate complex environments. The CL-3 reportedly incorporates advanced motion control and AI algorithms, allowing it to perform tasks that require a high level of coordination and adaptability.
Its design allows for seamless interaction with dynamic environments, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.
With its advanced features, CL-3 is expected to play an important role in various fields, especially industry. Possessing the ability to navigate complex terrain and perform dynamic tasks, this robot will be an ideal choice for automation in manufacturing and logistics.
