Cristiano Ronaldo scored a crucial brace, helping Al Nassr secure a 4-1 victory against their opponents in the early hours of May 22nd (Vietnam time), thus officially clinching the Saudi Pro League title. This is the Portuguese superstar's first national championship since moving to the league in January 2023.
This title marks Al Nassr's 11th national championship in history and the team's first since Ronaldo joined. Al Nassr finished the season with two points more than their arch-rivals Al Hilal, clinching the title in a dramatic final matchday.

Previously, Al Nassr missed the opportunity to clinch the title early in the previous round after a last-minute error by Brazilian goalkeeper Bento, resulting in a 1-1 draw against Al Hilal. They then continued to disappoint by unexpectedly losing at home to Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final last weekend.
However, coach Jorge Jesus's team ultimately achieved their goal by overcoming Damac at King Saud University Stadium. Al Nassr's lineup for this match also included former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, who also scored, along with former Atlético Madrid and Chelsea striker Joao Felix, playing alongside Ronaldo.
Mane opened the scoring for Al Nassr late in the first half, before Kingsley Coman doubled the lead early in the second. Ronaldo then added two more goals to seal the victory and clinch the championship for his team. These were also his 27th and 28th goals of the season.

Ronaldo has now scored over 100 goals for Al Nassr after three seasons playing in Saudi Arabia, since joining the Saudi Pro League following his second stint with Manchester United.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner couldn't hide his emotions and received applause from the crowd as he left the field in the 87th minute. Ronaldo has now won national championships in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. He will also represent Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, his sixth World Cup appearance.
Ronaldo's other title with Al Nassr is the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup, although this tournament is not recognized by FIFA.
