(BLC) - Promoting the advantages and potentials bestowed by nature, Sa De Phin commune (Sin Ho district) is currently actively promoting, investing in construction to promote tourism development. From there, it creates livelihoods, solves jobs for people, contributes to the development of local socio -economy, and at the same time preserves and promotes traditional cultural values.
Names such as: ancient tea hills, Lai Chau ginseng garden, resort service area, traces of French post or Cat Chua Sy flying waterfall... are places that attract many tourists when coming to Sa De Phin commune. Coming here, tourists can not only visit and experience but also enjoy cuisine , dance and sing, and exchange culture with the local people. Tourism is opening up a new direction for economic development, increasing income for the people here.
To develop tourism , first of all, it is necessary to promote internal strength and join hands of the community. Saying is doing, the commune has increased propaganda, sent cadres to hold meetings with people and villages so that people know about the benefits that tourism brings; together discuss and propose solutions, remove difficulties in the implementation process. Mobilize people to maintain environmental hygiene, ensure security, preserve cultural values, especially maintain art troupes, cuisine, traditional costumes. The commune coordinates with organizations and businesses to expand investment, promote images, train tourism knowledge for people and cadres in the commune, deploy visits, learn from experiences from tourism locations in the province to apply to local reality.
Cat Chua Sy Flying Waterfall - a newly discovered tourist destination in Sa De Phin commune (Sin Ho district).
Realizing that tourism is a way to bring high economic value, people in the villages: Sa De Phin, Mao Sao Phin, Sang Phin, Hat Ho actively change, regularly improve the village environment landscape, do not let livestock roam free, repair and beautify their houses. Especially in the area of the ancient tea hill, Cat Chua Sy flying waterfall, people clean it every day, promptly repair when there is damage. In the villages, the unique culture of the Mong people is always preserved, the elderly teach children how to embroider, sew, prepare food, practice songs, traditional musical instruments to perform when visitors come.
Sa De Phin Lake is being invested in for tourists to experience the lake in the near future.
The commune has increased investment and upgraded rural roads, especially roads to tourist areas that have been widened to make it easier for cars to access. On the internal roads, people plant flowers, trees, and flags along the roads. Some households also set up homestays for guests to stay and experience. Typically, people in the commune's villages contributed nearly 300 million VND to buy 209 solar-powered light bulbs to light up the country roads, beautifying the village at night.
Mr. Mua A Tua (Sa De Phin village) excitedly said: "With the advantage of having ancient tea hills and Cat Chua Sy waterfall, recently our village has attracted many tourists to visit and take pictures. Therefore, to promote tourist attractions closer to tourists, many families have taken pictures of the beauty of Cat Chua Sy waterfall and posted them on social networks and received many positive responses. In addition, commune and village officials have promoted and mobilized people to build a cultural village, free of drug abuse, clean village roads and alleys, and friendly and harmonious people. Especially the young generation actively participates in the art troupe, learning how to do tourism to change their lives."

The commune is also cooperating with Thai Minh High-Tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company and Sao Do - Tay Bac Joint Stock Company to invest in planting medicinal plants, creating conditions for tourists to visit and take photos in the ginseng garden, and at the same time developing a model of accommodation (farmstay) for tourists to relax. In addition, the flower garden in Mao Sao Phin village also attracts a large number of visitors to experience.
Mr. Giang A Tung - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said: In 2023, the commune welcomed nearly 2,000 tourists. Thanks to tourism development, it has contributed to reducing the commune's poverty rate to 58%, with an average income of 23 million VND/person/year (2023). In the coming time, the commune will continue to call for investment, open many types of tourism, contributing to changing the face of the countryside.
