Muong Te is a mountainous border district, where people's lives face many difficulties. In 2025, the district will have 2,077 households receiving housing support, including 1,825 newly built houses and 252 repaired houses.

Up to now, Muong Te district has completed 1,667 houses, 410 houses are under construction, with a budget of nearly 180 billion VND. During the process of building and repairing houses, communes and towns mobilized 33,928 working days and 200 tons of cement, sand, and gravel from people, organizations, and individuals in the province.

At the conference, members of the district steering committee and representatives of commune and town leaders reported on the progress of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. At the same time, they pointed out the difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
