In order to comply with the State Bank's regulations on domestic chip card standards, while enhancing security and optimizing customer convenience, VPBank has implemented and completed the Chip card conversion process completely free of charge for customers in the past time.

1. From July 1, 2025 , VPBank will stop supporting all transactions with international Debit cards using magnetic technology issued by VPBank.

2. VPBank system will automatically disable cards using magnetic technology. At the same time, VPBank encourages you to cancel physical cards to avoid revealing personal information on the card.

3. VPBank has supported the issuance of a completely FREE replacement chip technology card. Chip cards are designed with modern technology, secured according to VCCS standards, store information using microchips (instead of just storing information using magnetic strips) and create a unique code for each transaction, helping to better protect personal data and prevent fraud.
