Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam worked with the western communes on the implementation of public investment projects.

On the morning of October 27, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam, along with leaders of relevant departments and branches, had a working session with communes and wards in the West of Quang Ngai province on the implementation of public investment projects in the western region of the province.

As of October 24, 2025, projects in the West managed by the provincial level have disbursed nearly VND 786 billion, reaching 35% of the plan. Projects previously received by the commune level from the district level have disbursed more than VND 802 billion, reaching 35% of the plan.

According to local reports, the difficulties in recent times are that many projects are stuck in compensation and site clearance; the weather in the Western region is not favorable, with heavy rain, affecting the construction of projects. Leaders of departments, branches and localities reported at the working session

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested relevant departments, branches, localities and units to urgently review and transfer capital plans between projects with slow disbursement to projects with good disbursement progress and lack of capital; requested investors to make efforts to carry out related procedures to ensure timely disbursement of investment capital.

Relevant units and localities coordinate to resolve difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing projects, especially those in compensation and site clearance. At the same time, propose solutions to handle the problems of slow-disbursement projects.
