Liquefied gas tanker truck explosion in Hung Yen

While traveling, a tanker truck carrying liquefied petroleum gas got stuck in a barrier at Pho Noi A Industrial Park (Lac Dao Commune) and exploded. A loud explosion could be heard from afar, then a fierce fire broke out.

On the evening of October 28, the leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hung Yen Province Police confirmed that an explosion and fire had just occurred at Pho Noi A Industrial Park (Lac Dao Commune) in a tanker carrying liquefied gas.

Accordingly, at about 7:00 p.m. the same day, a tanker carrying liquefied gas entered the road belonging to Pho Noi A Industrial Park.

Here, the tank got stuck in the height limit barrier and exploded. A loud bang could be heard from afar, then the fire broke out fiercely, many nearby motorcyclists fell onto the road.

Immediately after the incident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Hung Yen Province and functional forces were present at the scene, trying to put out the fire to prevent it from spreading to the surrounding area.

According to the leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the fire caused the tanker driver to be burned. Because the truck was carrying gas, the fire kept flaring up again after being extinguished. The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
