During this trip, Canon representatives handed over 1,000 relief gifts, including cash and necessities: rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, etc. to disadvantaged and severely affected families with a total value of 418 million VND.
This is the amount contributed by Canon Vietnam, support from officers and employees during the week of calling for support from October 13 to October 21, and contribution from the company's Union.
Although the relief gifts cannot fully compensate for the heavy losses that people in the flood-hit areas have suffered, they represent the sincere feelings, contributions, and sharing from companies and staff with the desire to help people quickly stabilize their lives after the flood.

Canon Vietnam also coordinated with the Fatherland Front of 13 communes in 6 provinces including: Thien Tan & Huu Lien communes (Lang Son); Tam Tien & Dong Ky communes ( Bac Ninh ), Tan Khanh & Kha Son communes (Thai Nguyen); Ca Thanh & Khanh Xuan communes (Cao Bang); Mo Vang & Mau A communes (Lao Cai); Vi Xuyen, Thuan Hoa, Linh Ho communes (Tuyen Quang) to organize activities to give gifts and cash to 1,000 households.
Touched by the sentiments and sharing of Canon Vietnam, the households expressed their sincere thanks to the companies. Many people could not hold back their tears when representatives of the companies came to their homes to give money as well as share, talk and encourage them and their families.

Also in October and November of 2010, 2013, 2016, 2020, 2024 when people in the Central and Northern regions faced consecutive major storms causing heavy damage, Canon mobilized billions of VND in support and donated to thousands of affected households in the Central provinces.
In addition to flood relief, Canon also organizes many other meaningful social responsibility activities such as: the project "Canon Friendship School Chain" to support the construction of classrooms for 56 disadvantaged schools nationwide; the project "Canon Friendship Green Park" at schools in Hanoi and Bac Ninh; the project to donate Ehon bookcases "Nurturing Children's Souls" implemented in Hanoi and Bac Ninh... In the future, Canon Vietnam commits to continue implementing its social responsibility projects to actively contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
