Construction contractors join hands to create a new look for Hai Phong city

Representatives of the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association expressed gratitude to local businesses.

On the afternoon of October 28, the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association held a conference "Cooperation for mutual development: Hai Phong, Vietnamese and international construction contractors join hands to create a new look for Hai Phong city".

Representatives of leaders of a number of city departments, branches and sectors; the Vietnam Association of Construction Contractors and nearly 50 domestic construction corporations attended the conference.

Also attending were representatives of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association; the Korea AI Space Association; more than 40 international high-tech corporations, including many enterprises investing in building semiconductor factories in Vietnam; Guangzhou Construction Group (China) - one of the top 500 largest enterprises in the world .

Representatives of Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association signed a cooperation agreement with Korean enterprises.

Within the framework of the conference, the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association signed many strategic cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign partners, demonstrating a long-term vision in infrastructure, industrial and high-tech development.

Specifically, the association signed with the Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Corporation UDIC ( Hanoi ) on developing social housing projects in Hai Phong, contributing to the city completing the target of building social housing before 2030 according to the Government's assigned target.

The Association cooperates with Vietnam Industry Corporation to research, plan, invest and call for investment in the system of industrial parks and specialized production clusters, following the orientation of "each ward and commune has an industrial park or specialized production cluster", contributing to job creation and reasonable industrial distribution.

At the same time, signed a cooperation agreement with Constrexims HOD Investment Corporation in the field of research and development of mid- and high-end urban areas, towards smart, modern urban areas, improving the quality of life and appearance of the city; towards building new iconic high-rise towers in Hai Phong city.

The Association established a strategic partnership with the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, focusing on investing in high-tech industrial parks, transferring semiconductor technology, training human resources and incubating technology startups.

Cooperate with Guangzhou Construction Group (China) on research, planning and investment in industrial parks and logistics seaports, while transferring modern construction technology, training highly skilled human resources and implementing complex traffic infrastructure projects.

At the same time, a tripartite agreement was signed between the Korean Semiconductor Industry Association - Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association - Hai Phong University on training and sending Hai Phong students to intern at large Korean industrial corporations. After completion, students will return to work in the city's high-tech industrial zones, contributing to building high-quality human resources to serve Hai Phong's industrialization strategy.

In addition, the conference also witnessed many memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the fields of materials, logistics, urban areas and technology, opening up a series of large-scale investment projects for the 2025-2030 period, affirming Hai Phong's position in the global investment flow.

The series of signed agreements is a testament to the determination of the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association in accompanying the city, towards the goal of "Hai Phong - A modern industrial city, an international economic and commercial center".

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen The Manh, Chairman of the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association, emphasized that with the spirit of "Cooperation for mutual development", this conference is not only a forum connecting the government - enterprises - associations - universities, but also the first step for a wide domestic and international cooperation network. After 1 year of official operation, the Hai Phong Construction Contractors Association has gradually affirmed its role as a bridge between businesses and the government, between domestic and international contractors, contributing to connecting the city's construction community and raising the brand of Hai Phong contractors on the construction map of Vietnam.
