With that vision and essence, we continuously strive to improve the supply chain from production to distribution to bring products that are not only good for health but also contribute to environmental protection. More importantly, we promote the sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses and the Vietnamese economy. Building raw material areas linked to planting area codes not only provides consumers with products of clear origin, ensuring food safety and quality, but also helps producers stabilize their output. Moreover, this is a key factor in ensuring a stable supply for distributors.”
Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, affirmed: “Ho Chi Minh City has abundant potential and conditions to develop raw material areas sustainably. With the determination and efforts of the city government, businesses, and the community, I believe that we will build high-quality raw material areas, contributing to promoting economic development and improving people's lives.”

Developing its own raw material supply areas helps Saigon Co.op connect more deeply with partners, communities, and consumers, creating comprehensive and sustainable development. This not only brings economic benefits and meets the growing demands of the market but also demonstrates Saigon Co.op's strong commitment to environmental protection and enhancing corporate social responsibility.
Saigon Co.op, together with local farmers, cooperatives, and raw material suppliers, creates close partnerships by proactively developing raw material areas, improving production quality, and promoting sustainable development.
Planning raw material areas linked to planting area codes provides consumers with products of clear origin, guaranteed quality and food safety, and more choices at reasonable prices. At the same time, it helps producers, especially farmers, stabilize output, increase income, and improve their living standards.
Furthermore, developing raw material areas is a key factor in ensuring distributors have a stable and high-quality supply, thereby enhancing their reputation and competitiveness in the market. Simultaneously, developing raw material areas also contributes positively to socio-economic development, creating numerous job opportunities and elevating the position of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
With a sense of responsibility and a desire to reciprocate the trust and affection of millions of Vietnamese families, as well as the expectations of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities where Saigon Co.op's distribution system is located, Saigon Co.op is committed to actively managing product quality, ensuring safe product consumption, and protecting the legitimate rights of consumers.
