Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has won the Golden Boot and Player of the Season awards for the 2024/25 season, making Premier League history with multiple records.
The Golden Boot award is given to the player who scores the most goals in a Premier League season. Salah scored his 29th goal of the season in Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on 25 May. The Egyptian striker finished the season six goals ahead of the second-highest scorer, Newcastle United's Alexander Isak.

This is the fourth season Salah has won the Premier League top scorer title, equaling the Golden Boot record of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The Best Assist Award is given to the player with the most assists. Salah finished the season with 18 assists, six more than the second-best player, Newcastle's Jacob Murphy.
This is the second time Salah has won both the Golden Boot and Assist awards in the same season, having previously won in 2021/22, when he scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists.
Apart from Salah, only one other player has won both awards in the same season. That is Harry Kane, who won both awards in the 2020/21 season for Tottenham Hotspur, the England striker scored 23 goals and assisted 14.
Newcastle United's Andrew Cole in 1993–94, and Leeds United's Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in 1998–99, also finished the season as the Premier League's top goalscorer and assist provider, but the Assister of the Year award was only introduced in 2017–18.
With his goal against Crystal Palace on the final day, Salah also equalled the record for combined goals and assists in a single season. The Egyptian striker equalled Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole, who each contributed to 47 goals in the 1994-95 and 1993-94 seasons, but back then the season had 42 games (22 teams), four more than now.

Salah also became the first player in history to win the Golden Boot, Best Assist and Player of the Season awards.
Salah was named EA SPORTS Player of the Season this weekend, becoming only the fifth player in Premier League history to win the award in two different seasons, after Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic and Kevin De Bruyne.
