According to Neowin , in its announcement, Samsung said that after coming to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Enhance-X will soon also support the Galaxy S22 series.
The Galaxy S23 series will benefit from Galaxy Enhance-X
Galaxy Enhance-X is an application that first appeared in July 2022 to provide AI-based image enhancement and editing features to users. This application also acts as a replacement for the built-in photo editor in Samsung's Library application.
But a few months later, Galaxy Enhance-X was removed from the Galaxy Store and users reported that the app installed on their devices was also faulty. Samsung then brought the app back to the Galaxy Store with version number 1.0.55 labeled Beta and weighing in at 84MB.
Galaxy Enhance-X now offers a one-tap feature called Magic Enhancer – which essentially automatically detects and fixes issues like blurriness, noise, or loss of detail. The app also offers one-tap buttons to adjust various aspects like HDR, brightness, sharpness, etc. Additionally, the app can be used to remove unwanted shadows and reduce the Moiré effect – the wavy pattern that appears when clicking photos on a TV or laptop screen.

What's more, the app's Image Upscaling feature can increase the resolution of images under 1 MP by up to four times. For example, a 640 x 360 image can be converted to 2,560 x 1,400. Samsung says the app also works for images not taken on a Galaxy device. In addition to the high-end Galaxy S23 and S22 models, the company also plans to bring Galaxy Enhance-X to future Galaxy A devices.
