Gia Binh Airport (Bac Ninh) is estimated to have an investment cost of about 120,839 billion VND in the 2021-2030 period, about 61,455 billion VND with a vision to 2050.

The Ministry of Construction has just signed a decision approving the adjustment of the Master Plan for the development of the national airport and seaport system for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Accordingly, Gia Binh International Airport is added to the National Airport System Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, with an expected design capacity of about 30 million passengers/year for the 2021-2030 period; about 50 million passengers/year with a vision to 2050.

The expected land area is about 1,960 hectares; estimated investment cost according to the planning: about 120,839 billion VND for the period 2021-2030, about 61,455 billion VND with a vision to 2050.

The decision also adjusts the planning targets of Noi Bai International Airport with an expected design capacity of about 30 million passengers/year in the 2021-2030 period; about 50 million passengers/year with a vision to 2050.

The expected land area is about 1,500 hectares; estimated investment cost according to the planning period 2021-2030 is not invested, vision to 2050 is about 9,982 billion VND.

The expected land area occupied by the master plan for the airport system by 2030 is about 25,791 hectares.

The investment capital demand for airport system development by 2030 is about 444,711 billion VND, mobilized from the state budget, non-budgetary capital and other legal capital sources.
