The highlight of Phu Quoc International Airport is the passenger terminal, designed by Singapore-based CPG Airport consultant, inspired by the phoenix spreading its wings to fly, symbolizing national status and national pride. The terminal has an international standard apron system, an international terminal, a domestic terminal, a shopping mall, an exhibition area, etc. At the same time, it is equipped with the most modern operating technology in the world , including check-in without going to the airport, automatic baggage sorting, biometric identification technology that reduces the time for entry and exit to 15 - 30 seconds/person, etc.

The newly built VVIP terminal of Phu Quoc International Airport, with the aim of welcoming heads of state, was designed by Italian architect Marco Casamonti, the “father” of the iconic Cau Hon project in Phu Quoc. The terminal was designed after the sea eagle fish, symbolizing freedom and flexibility in the ocean.

In addition, the planning of Phu Quoc international airport also includes the expansion and addition of auxiliary works such as cargo terminal, radar system, etc.
