Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3) made landfall in Quang Ninh on September 7, causing heavy losses in human lives and property. According to statistics, in Quang Ninh , the storm caused more than 102,000 houses to have their roofs blown off, 254 houses to collapse, and nearly 5,000 houses to be flooded and eroded. Quang Ninh province suffered monetary losses due to Typhoon Yagi of about VND24,000 billion.
