Orange production for the 2025-2026 season is expected to reach 122,000 tons.

For the 2025-2026 orange crop season, Tuyen Quang province has a total area of over 9,300 hectares of oranges, of which more than 8,700 hectares are producing fruit. Thanks to favorable weather, improved cultivation techniques, and the expansion of planting areas according to VietGAP standards, the average yield throughout the region reached 139 quintals/hectare, with an estimated orange production of 122,000 tons, an increase of about 6% compared to the previous crop season. The Ham Yen mandarin orange growing area, a famous brand of the province, alone has over 5,000 hectares, of which 4,800 hectares are producing fruit, yielding nearly 80,000 tons.

To ensure stable output, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with relevant departments and localities, organizes trade promotion activities, strengthens advertising, and expands consumer markets. Many cooperatives have adopted organic farming practices, linked with traceability labels, and sold their products through e-commerce platforms, especially during the end of the year, affirming the position of Tuyen Quang mandarin oranges as one of the key fruit brands of the northern mountainous region.
