Ready for the inauguration ceremony of Central Maternity Hospital, branch 2

Facility 2 of the Central Maternity Hospital, located in Kieu Phu commune, Hanoi city, is one of the typical medical facilities chosen to hold an inauguration ceremony on the morning of August 19.

The Central Maternity Hospital has 300 inpatient beds and receives about 1,000 examinations per day.

In the atmosphere of emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on the morning of August 19, the Government will organize the groundbreaking and inauguration of many important projects in localities across the country.

The Central Maternity Hospital's second facility was invested with a total cost of about 950 billion VND, built on a land area of nearly 60,000m², of which the construction area is more than 8,400m². The project consists of 6 floors above ground, 1 technical floor and 1 attic floor, designed in a modern style, optimizing functionality, being environmentally friendly and convenient for patients.

According to the plan, the hospital has a scale of 300 inpatient beds, receiving about 1,000 examinations per day.

The professional organization at facility 2 includes 11 clinical departments, 4 paraclinical departments, and many supporting functional departments such as coordination room, customer care, pharmacy, pharmaceutical warehouse, technical logistics... The hospital is flexibly arranged to serve both long-term inpatient treatment needs and high-quality outpatient examination.

The work of completing and preparing for the operation of the new facility is being carried out urgently and with a specific roadmap. Under the close direction of the Board of Directors, each functional area, from the clinic, operating room, treatment area to the technical and logistics departments, is being reviewed and adjusted according to professional standards, ensuring quality, infection control, patient safety and fire prevention and fighting during the phase of putting each part into use.

Overall, the project has a modern, environmentally friendly architecture, optimizing its functionality. Medical equipment is invested synchronously, serving comprehensively from diagnosis, treatment to recovery. The hospital operating system applies digital technology and artificial intelligence, aiming for a smart-green-digital hospital model.

Along with the infrastructure, the medical staff has been transferred and arranged appropriately. Many highly qualified and experienced personnel have been assigned to work at the new facility. The professional, paraclinical, administrative-logistical departments all coordinate to gradually operate the hospital effectively, safely and flexibly in each phase.

In addition to improving professional capacity, the organizational model here also aims to improve the patient experience. Functional departments such as the coordination center, customer care room... are established to ensure comprehensive and humane patient service.

The opening of the second facility on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) is an important milestone for the Central Maternity Hospital. This is not only a project to celebrate a major event of the country, but also demonstrates the determination to innovate and improve the quality of healthcare, focusing on patients, for a more equitable, modern and effective healthcare system.
