To serve tourists visiting for sightseeing, recreation, and accommodation, tourist areas and attractions in Dong Nai province have invested in upgrading and beautifying themselves to maximize the number of visitors throughout the summer, especially large-scale and famous destinations such as: Cat Tien National Park, Bu Gia Map National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve; and tourist areas such as Suoi Mo, Buu Long, Bo Cap Vang, Son Tien…
Many tourist promotions and discounts are available.
Considered the largest and most modern tourist area in Vietnam, Son Tien Eco-tourism City (referred to as Son Tien Tourist Area, located in Long Hung ward) has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization for 11 record-breaking construction projects. The tourist area is currently one of the most popular destinations in Dong Nai province , consistently ranking among the top tourist destinations during peak seasons.

To cater to tourists this summer, Ms. Dinh Thi Xuan Mai, Head of Marketing at Son Tien Tourist Area, stated that Son Tien has launched promotional packages to stimulate tourism, such as: a discount program of 80-100 thousand VND/ticket/person for outstanding students at all levels, valid for 3 summer months (June to August). In addition, Son Tien offers free entry to the Amazing World theme park from 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer; and a 50% discount on tickets to both Amazing Bay and Amazing World from 3 PM on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.
"Son Tien offers special summer packages with the hope of attracting more tourists to experience a space with modern and unique water activities," Ms. Mai shared.
At Buu Long Tourist Area (in Tran Bien ward), Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, acting director of Buu Long Tourist Area, said: To welcome summer 2026, Buu Long Tourist Area is launching a "Summer Sale" program with many attractive offers lasting throughout the summer. Specifically, entrance tickets are free for all children under 1.4m; 50% off entrance tickets for students over 1.4m, along with other ticket price discounts for both adults and children.
Other tourist areas and attractions such as the Golden Scorpion Tourist Area, Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, Bu Gia Map National Park, and the Ta Thiet Base (Headquarters of the Southern Vietnam Liberation Army) are also ready to welcome tourists this summer with impressive sightseeing and nature experiences.
Ensuring tourism safety
Besides promotional programs and tourism stimulus initiatives, ensuring safety and security at tourist areas is a crucial task not only for the tourist areas themselves but also for relevant authorities in the city. This includes ensuring fire safety, firefighting, and rescue operations at water-based recreational areas. Therefore, the Dong Nai City Police have recently implemented activities to raise awareness and provide guidance on drowning prevention skills, ensuring safety for residents, tourists, and visitors at tourist areas and attractions throughout the city.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Director of the Bo Cap Vang Eco-tourism Area (Dai Phuoc commune), said: "As a tourist area with most recreational activities on the river, rescue and emergency response at the tourist area is always a top priority. Over the past time, Bo Cap Vang Tourist Area has always fully complied with State regulations on ensuring the safety of tourists. In 2023, Bo Cap Vang was recognized by the Provincial Police (now Dong Nai City Police) as a safe tourist destination in terms of security and order. To date, the tourist area continues to regularly train and improve the rescue and emergency response skills of its staff to ensure the safety of tourists throughout their experience at Bo Cap Vang."
Dong Nai currently has 225 tourist accommodation establishments with over 5,800 rooms. Of these, 36 are rated from 1 to 5 stars. Specifically: 1 five-star hotel, 1 four-star hotel, 4 three-star hotels and 1 three-star resort, and 16 two-star hotels. Dong Nai is currently undertaking numerous urban, commercial, service, and tourism-related projects that can cater to future tourist needs.
At water-based recreational areas and attractions, as well as during sightseeing and exploration activities in forests, lakes, and mountains throughout the city, rescue, emergency response, and fire prevention measures have been ensured.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Tourist Area, shared: Buu Long Tourist Area offers a variety of activities, from adventure games to water activities (swimming in the pool, swan boating, etc.). Therefore, Buu Long Tourist Area is always a very popular destination, so ensuring the safety and security of visitors is a top priority.
