Thanh Binh Bridge project has been under construction since March 13, 2023. Up to now, the project has basically completed the construction volume: Completing the body, abutments, pouring concrete on the bridge deck; installing underground technical pipes, curbs, paving the sidewalk on the bridge; completing the erection of 3 decorative steel arches; paving the sidewalk, curbs, asphalt concrete at the bridge head; installing bridge railings; curbs separating the bridge; stairs; decorative tension bars; lighting to ensure traffic. The value of completed volume reached 85/90.7 billion VND. Unfinished volume includes: Installation of Alu cladding panels for bridge girders; water wheels, Mong pipes.
During the inspection, comrade Le Thanh Do requested the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City and the contractor to speed up the progress of the remaining tasks this afternoon (October 29) and tomorrow morning (October 30), such as: Completing the bracing system; repainting road markings, traffic markings, road signs, bridge arches; completing the tree system at the bridgehead. Speed up the progress of the Alu cladding, water fountains, and walkways. The contractor urgently performs the remaining tasks, cleans up, ensures the safety of the technical traffic opening ceremony and the safety of traffic participants.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do assigned the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City to prepare necessary conditions and arrange vehicles for the technical traffic opening ceremony at 8:00 a.m. on November 1; announce the time and schedule for people to know and participate in traffic.
