During the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong introduced Mr. Olivier Brochet to the potential and strengths of Dien Bien province in various fields, especially agriculture , culture, and historical tourism. He also informed him about the cooperation between Dien Bien and the French Embassy in Vietnam in the fields of culture and tourism in the past period.
With the desire and effort to promote the friendly relations and cooperation between Dien Bien province and French agencies and organizations, Dien Bien province requests that the Ambassador continue to introduce Dien Bien province to suitable localities and partners in France to mobilize support and funding for more programs and projects; support connecting French businesses and investors to survey and research investment and cooperation projects in the fields of culture and tourism in Dien Bien province; introduce consulting partners to support Dien Bien province in solutions to improve the quality of urban lighting system planning; and support the exchange of experience in preserving and displaying outdoor museum artifacts, especially large-scale weapons and military vehicles.
Expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the warm and thoughtful reception from the Provincial Party Secretary and other leaders of Dien Bien province, Mr. Olivier Brochet affirmed: With the desire to promote cooperation and friendship in various fields between the Republic of France and Vietnam in general, and Dien Bien province in particular, and with the existing traditional cooperative relationship between Dien Bien province and its partners in the Republic of France, the Ambassador will continue to nurture, support, and have faith in the prospects for future cooperative development.
