The opening ceremony was solemnly held at the Limo pickleball court cluster with the participation of nearly 500 athletes who are doctors, nurses, technicians, medical staff, ... working at 15 units under the Department of Health.
Athletes competed in more than 53 events, in 11 subjects, including: Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball, Chess, Chinese Chess, Athletics, Cone Throwing, Crossbow Shooting, Tug of War and Stick Pushing. At the end of the competitions, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to individuals and teams with outstanding achievements.
After 3 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 53 sets of medals. The Organizing Committee also awarded the overall team prizes to the athlete teams with many achievements, in which, the first overall prize belonged to the athlete team of the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation; the second overall prize belonged to the athlete team of the Department of Health Office and the athlete team of Nam Po Medical Center won the third overall prize.
The Sports Congress is a useful playground for medical staff in the province to meet, exchange and learn experiences; respond to the movement for the whole people to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho; thereby, contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise, patriotic emulation, creating cohesion between units in the industry; at the same time, selecting athletes to attend the 12th Dien Bien Provincial Sports Congress to be held in 2026.
