According to the Program, on the morning of June 16, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended).

According to the Program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on Monday morning (June 16), the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to vote on the National Assembly's Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; and the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended).

Along with that, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Teachers; the Law on Employment (amended); the Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising; and listened to the Presentation (supplement) and the Examination Report (supplement) of the draft Law on Railways (amended).

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and those studying general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system; and the Resolution of the National Assembly on universalizing preschool education for preschool children from 3 to 5 years old.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to discuss the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city; and discussed in groups: Draft Law on Railways (amended); Investment policy for the investment project to build the 4th Ring Road of Ho Chi Minh City.

A highlight of the working week was the question and answer session before the National Assembly. The question and answer session took place from June 19 to the morning of June 20. The groups of issues selected by the National Assembly for questioning were in the fields of: Finance; Education and Training.

Other important contents during the working week are: Additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2024; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in the first months of 2025; and approval of the state budget settlement in 2023.

In addition, the National Assembly will consider the transition to applying a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been allowed by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies; the work of practicing thrift and combating waste in 2024; and the results of implementing the national goal of gender equality in 2024. The discussion session took place from June 17 to the morning of June 18 and was broadcast live on television and radio for voters and people to follow.

According to the program, the National Assembly discussed draft laws and resolutions including: Law on Railways (amended); Law on Participation in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force; Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and students of general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system; Resolution of the National Assembly on universalizing preschool education for preschool children from 3 to 5 years old; Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism for handling difficulties and problems caused by legal regulations.

The National Assembly also discussed: Investment policy for the Quy Nhon-Pleiku expressway construction project; Investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 construction project; Adjustment of investment policy for the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau expressway construction project, phase 1./.
