This is an important event to strengthen economic , trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, while promoting the presence of Vietnamese goods and businesses in the UAE and more broadly the Middle East market.
The forum was organized to implement the Prime Minister 's direction on strengthening multi-faceted cooperation with the Middle East in general and the UAE in particular; to more strongly open the market for Vietnamese export goods to the UAE, connect businesses of the two countries, introduce and promote products, investment and business environment of Vietnam to major partner businesses of the UAE, as well as introduce the UAE's business policies to the Vietnamese business community; attract investment from UAE partners.
Sharing before the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE Nguyen Thanh Diep said that with the theme "Vietnam-UAE Trade Door: Connecting the Right Needs, Cooperating with the Right Partners", the forum brings together experts, investors and business leaders, bringing in-depth discussions, analyzing market trends, economic policies and business opportunities in the UAE.
This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to directly connect with potential partners, boost trade promotion activities and expand international markets.
The forum will have many important activities, bringing practical value to businesses, such as strategic discussion sessions with the participation of leaders of the two countries and leading experts in economics and investment; business connection sessions; signing ceremony of memorandum of understanding (MOU)...
In addition, there are displays of products and services of Vietnamese enterprises at exhibition booths and tours of factories, supermarket systems and large corporations for Vietnamese enterprises to learn about the market and cooperation opportunities.
This forum is not only a trade promotion event but also contributes to Vietnam's economic diplomacy strategy, making the UAE one of the important connecting centers with the Middle East market. The Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE hopes that the event will open up many new cooperation opportunities, bringing businesses of the two countries closer to common development goals.
The UAE is currently Vietnam's largest trading partner in the Middle East, with annual bilateral trade reaching nearly US$5 billion. In the first nine months of 2024, this figure increased by more than 40% over the same period last year, demonstrating strong potential for cooperation between the two countries.
