The approval of nearly 1,000 additional codes is the result of close coordination between the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and China. This is an important step in the chain of efforts to promote official exports, including deeper access to the Chinese market - the world's largest durian consumer market.
At the same time, this move also shows that China recognizes Vietnam's significant progress in organizing production, controlling quality and meeting strict technical requirements of importing countries.

The Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection recommends that businesses and cooperatives continue to strictly maintain production, packaging and quarantine processes in accordance with regulations registered with China to ensure sustainability in official export activities.
Currently, the country has 12 Cadmium testing laboratories and 8 O-yellow testing laboratories qualified to test exported durian. This is an important basis to help businesses proactively check quality, meet Chinese requirements, and contribute to enhancing the reputation of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
The Dak Lak Durian Association said that Dak Lak is also waiting for the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to announce the exact data on the number of durian growing area codes and packing facility codes of Dak Lak granted this time. This is very good news, hoping that export activities will take place smoothly, bringing profits to businesses, cooperatives, and people of Dak Lak in the upcoming durian season.
Localities and businesses need to proactively take advantage of this opportunity, while ensuring strict compliance with regulations on plant quarantine and food safety to export durian sustainably.
