Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station dialogues with fishermen

On September 18, at Da Rang Border Control Station, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities of coastal areas to organize meetings and dialogues with heads of departments, heads of canals, presidents of fishing unions and many outstanding fishermen at Dong Tac fishing port.

During the program, border guards disseminated legal regulations related to the prevention and combat of illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; and answered questions and recorded the thoughts and aspirations of fishermen ahead of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Fishermen expressed their hope and belief that the new Provincial Party Congress will open up a strong development step for the locality; at the same time, they hope to have more practical support policies so that fishermen can confidently go out to sea, contributing to preserving sovereignty and ensuring security of sea and island borders.

On this occasion, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station presented 35 national flags to outstanding fishermen.
