Lai Chau promotes the implementation of public services connecting 02 groups of administrative procedures

The People's Committee of Lai Chau province has just issued a document directing the promotion of propaganda solutions and the implementation of interconnected public services for two groups of administrative procedures: (1) Birth registration - Permanent residence registration - Issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old; (2) Death registration - Deletion of permanent residence registration - Settling burial and death benefits.

According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and People's Committees of communes and wards need to urgently overcome existing problems and at the same time synchronously and uniformly deploy solutions to effectively implement Official Dispatch No. 4725/TCT of the Working Group of Project 06.

Agencies and units are required to promote propaganda and popularization of interconnected public services through various forms, suitable for each target group such as instructional videos , loudspeaker systems, social networks and online platforms. Propaganda activities must be associated with improving digital skills and people's ability to access online public services, aiming to promote comprehensive digital transformation in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police, the Department of Justice, the Department of Health and the Provincial Social Insurance to organize periodic training programs for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers on data connection procedures and operations on the electronic system, ensuring that administrative procedures are carried out in accordance with regulations, quickly, accurately and safely.

The Provincial People's Committee Office is assigned to continue upgrading the Administrative Procedure Information System, ensuring data synchronization between the electronic civil status system and the interconnected public service software, helping the process of receiving, processing and returning online results to people to take place smoothly and effectively.

At the same time, the Department of Science and Technology was assigned to coordinate the expansion of telecommunications and Internet infrastructure, prioritizing mobile coverage and broadband Internet in unconnected areas, striving to eliminate mobile waves and broadband Internet by 2025.

At the grassroots level, the People's Committees of communes and wards need to direct the review and ensure facilities, equipment, human resources and infrastructure to serve the settlement of administrative procedures according to regulations; at the same time, promote the role of the Community Digital Technology Team in propagating, guiding and supporting people to practice using online public services.
