According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa, the whole province has 64 reservoirs, including 53 irrigation reservoirs and 11 hydroelectric reservoirs. At noon on November 4, the irrigation reservoirs in the province had a water level of 528 million m3, reaching 77% of the design capacity. Of which, large reservoirs (over 10 million m3) have reached a water storage capacity ratio of 35% to 98%. In particular, reservoirs such as: Da Ban, Suoi Dau, Song Cai, Song Sat, Song Trau have reached a water storage capacity ratio of: 54% - 98%.

To ensure flood prevention capacity, it is expected that the regulation at large reservoirs will be as follows: Da Ban will regulate discharge from 100 to 120m ³ /s; Hoa Son: 120-150m ³ /s; Suoi Dau: 120-150m ³ /s; Am Chua: 20-40m ³ /s; Cam Ranh: 80-100m ³ /s; Suoi Hanh: 80-90m ³ /s; Ta Ruc: 100-120m ³ /s; Cai River: 200-400m ³ /s; Trau River: 100-250m ³ /s; Tan Giang: 45-200m ³ /s; Bieu River: 80-160m ³ /s; Lanh Ra: 100-250m ³ /s; Than River: 100-200m ³ /s…

When regulating with this flow, the downstream area is at risk of being affected. Specifically, Da Ban Lake: Low-lying areas along rivers and streams of Bac Ninh Hoa commune, Hoa Tri commune, Ninh Hoa ward and Hoa Thang ward. Hoa Son Lake: Low-lying areas along rivers and streams of Tu Bong commune. Suoi Dau Lake: Suoi Dau, Cam Lam, Suoi Hiep, Dien Lac, Dien Khanh communes; areas along Cai Nha Trang River in Tay Nha Trang ward and Bac Nha Trang ward. Cam Ranh Lake: Temporary local flooding in some low-lying areas along rivers and streams downstream of Cam Hiep and Cam Lam communes. Ta Ruc Lake: Temporary local flooding in some low-lying areas along rivers and streams of Cam An commune, Ba Ngoi ward. Suoi Hanh Lake: Low-lying areas of Suoi Mon, Thong Nhat, Hoa Binh , Hoa An, Tan Hiep, Tra Son residential groups in Ba Ngoi ward. Song Cai Lake: Some low-lying areas along the Cai Phan Rang River in the wards of Dong Hai, Phan Rang, Bao An; and communes of Ninh Phuoc and Phuoc Hau. Song Trau Lake: Some low-lying areas along the Song Trau stream, the flood drainage route of Song Trau Lake in the communes of Cong Hai and Nam Cam Ranh. Tan Giang Lake: Some low-lying areas along the Lu River, the flood drainage route of Tan Giang Lake in the communes of Phuoc Ha, Thuan Nam, Phuoc Huu, Ninh Phuoc, and Phuoc Dinh. Song Sat Lake: Some low-lying areas along the streams and rivers, the flood drainage route of Song Sat Lake in the communes of Bac Ai Dong and Bac Ai. Song Bieu Lake: Some low-lying areas along the Bieu River and Lu River in the communes of Phuoc Ha, Thuan Nam, Phuoc Huu, Ninh Phuoc, and Phuoc Dinh.
