Thong Lam Ban Chit - a new tourist destination on the Lai Chau tourism map.

On October 21, 2025, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2662/QD-UBND on recognizing Thong Lam Ban Chit, Muong Than Commune as a tourist destination in Lai Chau province.

Thong Lam Chit Village Tourist Destination

The recognition of Thong Lam Ban Chit as a tourist destination aims to exploit and promote the potential and advantages of the natural landscape, culture, and daily life of the ethnic minorities in the locality; at the same time, it contributes to promoting community tourism, creating livelihoods, increasing income for the people, and linking tourism development with the preservation and promotion of valuable traditional cultural values.

According to the Decision, the People's Committee of Muong Than commune is responsible for organizing, managing, exploiting, and developing the tourist site in accordance with the provisions of the Tourism Law and current guiding documents; coordinating with relevant departments, agencies, and units in ensuring security, safety, environmental hygiene, and service quality at the tourist site.

The recognition of Thong Lam Ban Chit as a tourist destination further affirms Lai Chau province's efforts in developing tourism into an important economic sector, contributing to promoting the image of Lai Chau's land and people to domestic and international tourists.
