THE DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM OF LAI CHAU PROVINCE ORGANIZED A MEETING TO GATHER OPINIONS ON THE DRAFT RESOLUTION, ...

This morning, December 11, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province held a meeting to gather feedback on the Draft Resolution and Project for the development of tourism in Lai Chau province for the period 2026 – 2030, with a vision to 2035.

The meeting was chaired by Comrade Tong Thanh Hai – Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of the Departments of Finance, Ethnic Minorities and Religion, and members of the Drafting Team according to Decision No. 2679/QD-UBND dated October 23, 2025.

At the meeting, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented a summary report of the key contents of the draft Project and Resolution.

The delegates focused their discussions and provided feedback on the goals, tasks, and solutions for developing tourism in Lai Chau in a sustainable manner, in line with the province's socio -economic development orientation.

The head of the Department of Finance participated and gave his opinion at the conference.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that the Project Proposal was seriously prepared and closely followed the province's tourism development orientation. He requested further refinement of the Project Proposal based on the contributions of the delegates and especially emphasized the need to strengthen the promotion and advertising of Lai Chau's tourism image in the coming time.
