On November 4, the Khanh Hoa Province Center for Management and Exploitation of Aquatic Projects issued a document requesting the management boards of fishing ports and anchorage areas in the province to proactively respond to the storm near the East Sea (storm Kalmaegi).

Accordingly, the management boards of fishing ports and anchorages in the province need to organize 24/24 hours on duty; closely monitor forecasts on the storm's developments, promptly notify captains, owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea and in the management area to have proactive response plans, ensuring safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur. Before 10:00 a.m. on November 5, complete the review, inspection and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, materials, houses, warehouses, wharves and construction systems at the unit according to the "4 on-site" motto to ensure storm response; ensure safety of the channel area, anchorage waters, create favorable conditions for ships and boats to anchor and take shelter from the storm.
