Indonesia has officially secured a place in the play-off round for a ticket to the 2026 World Cup, after a 1-0 victory over China on June 5.

To reward the players, the Indonesian leader invited them to his home at 4 Kertanegara Street in Jakarta for lunch. After spending about 90 minutes at Prabowo's residence, the Indonesian players were seen leaving with a black paper bag bearing the words "The Time Place", the name of a multi-brand luxury watch store in Indonesia.

One of the Indonesian team players, Justin Hubner, later posted a video on his Instagram account.

The video shows him opening a black bag, which contains a green box engraved with Rolex and inside the box is a silver watch with a black dial.

Many fans have admired President Prabowo for his ability to "spend lavishly", as each watch is very expensive.

Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) President Erick Thohir said Mr. Prabowo treated officials and players of the Indonesian team like family.

He also affirmed that he was very proud of the Indonesian team, but hoped they would continue to try to win tickets to the 2026 World Cup.
