In the 2025 art talent recruitment season, Dong Nai recorded a remarkable milestone when Dong Nai College of Culture and Arts had a number of students registering to study far exceeding the set target. This shows a positive signal about the trend of pursuing professional art among young people, especially children of ethnic minorities.

According to the enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year, Dong Nai College of Culture and Arts enrolls 80 students for the following majors: traditional music , Western music , vocal music and dance. In the first phase (from March to May), the school enrolled 77 students at the facility, with 27 applications submitted. In the second phase (July), the school enrolled 140 students at the school, creating favorable conditions for the school to select candidates with outstanding talents for training.

Master Phung Ngoc Long, Principal of Dong Nai College of Culture and Arts, said: Through the practice sessions of performing at the school's facilities, the number of students registering for the traditional music major has increased. This year, more students have registered for dance and vocal music than in previous years. This shows that the direction of pursuing art is gradually receiving attention from students and their families.

According to Master Phung Ngoc Long, the school currently has a plan to conduct field trips and surveys in communes such as Bu Gia Map, Dak O, Bom Bo... and recruit students from ethnic minority areas and border areas. This is a "preliminary" step, the beginning of the school's recruitment of artistic talent in 95 wards and communes next school year.

“Dong Nai is a locality with a large ethnic minority population. The school wishes to discover and nurture artistic talents, especially in traditional music. Thereby, creating conditions for students to access a systematic artistic training environment and have the opportunity to develop professionally,” emphasized Master Phung Ngoc Long.
