This year's program is implemented from May to December to seek and honor exemplary disabled youth who are resilient, overcome adversity and actively contribute to the development of the community; contribute to fostering a good life ideal for young people, promoting the rise of Vietnamese youth.

Speaking at the press conference, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy said: This year's program will honor 30 delegates who are disabled youth under the age of 35.
According to the Standing Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the journey of more than 10 years of "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" has encouraged, motivated and inspired young people with disabilities across the country to strive to assert themselves with extraordinary willpower, determination and self-respect of brave people.
It is the will and determination to overcome adversity and rise up in life. Those who refuse to surrender or fall before fate are living proof of the Vietnamese spirit and determination. At the same time, they are a source of inspiration and motivation to help other disabled youths firmly walk on the path to equality and integration, contributing to the socio -economic development of the country.
“Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to strongly spread good living values, arouse love, a sense of social responsibility and call on the community to join hands to act for a Vietnam where no one is left behind,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy.
In particular, this year, the Organizing Committee expanded the scope of support with the companion program "Youth with disabilities starting a business in the digital age", taking place from April to December 2025. The program targets young people with disabilities who have a start-up project, wish to receive support in capital, technology, management skills or need to expand their existing production and business model.
In parallel, free training courses on sales skills and digital business will be held to improve the capacity of disabled youth, helping them to be more confident in integrating into the community.
Another new feature is that the Organizing Committee will organize the "Colors of Willpower" Program to introduce the examples that have been honored in the "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" program through inspirational videos and podcasts on social networking platforms, to spread positive values and reach out to the community to share about the lives and journeys of overcoming the fate of outstanding disabled youth.

The award ceremony will be held on August 19 and 20, 2025 in Hanoi.
The commended individuals will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; the program's logo, a savings book worth 10 million VND and other valuable prizes.
