SeABank rises 10 places on Fortune Southeast Asia 500 rankings

In 2025, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) continues to be honored by Fortune Business Magazine (USA) in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking - 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia with a ranking of 277/500, up 10 places compared to 2024 thanks to effective operations, maintaining growth momentum and prominent position in the region.

Fortune is the world's leading prestigious multinational business magazine, owning a series of prestigious rankings on fields/regions that account for a large proportion of the market such as Fortune 500, Fortune Global 500 and Fortune Europe 500. With the strong rise of Southeast Asia as a driving force for the global economy , the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking (500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia) has become an annual assessment activity to honor the development of large enterprises in many fields, contributing to promoting economic growth in the region.

In 2025, the minimum revenue threshold to be honored in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking is 349.4 million USD along with evaluation criteria on assets, profits and human resources. Accordingly, the Organizing Committee has selected 500 companies with the most impressive growth from 7 countries in the Southeast Asia region, including 76 enterprises from Vietnam to honor.

With 2024 revenue reaching nearly 950 million USD and profit growth of 23.3%, SeABank is ranked 40/76 in Vietnam, up 10 places compared to the 2024 ranking and reaching 277/500 in Southeast Asia in the 2025 ranking. This affirms SeABank's position and reputation at the regional and international levels, while demonstrating the effectiveness of a flexible and sustainable business strategy based on the principle of "customer-centricity" helping the Bank maintain growth momentum in a volatile market context.

SeABank maintains its growth momentum and position, rising 10 places on the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 rankings.

In 2024, SeABank's business activities will grow steadily thanks to focusing on upgrading digital technology and diversifying products and services, providing "tailor-made" financial solutions, and strongly implementing strategies to improve service quality and serve by segment, thereby meeting the needs and enhancing the experience of nearly 4 million customers. As a result, SeABank's charter capital in 2024 will reach VND 28,350 billion; pre-tax profit will reach VND 6,039 billion, up 31% compared to the end of 2023; total assets will be VND 325,699 billion, up 22% compared to 2023. Performance indicators all have good growth compared to the same period, such as ROE at 14.75% and ROA at 1.63%; CIR decreased to 33.28%. In addition, SeABank's credit rating was also maintained by Moody's at Ba3 for important portfolios with a Stable outlook.

SeABank's continuous efforts have been recognized and highly appreciated by prestigious organizations when it was awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the President; voted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a Vietnamese National Brand for the third consecutive year; ranked in the "Top 1000 World Banks 2024" by The Banker magazine (UK) for the third consecutive year, and honored as a Strong Vietnamese Brand for 16 consecutive years, thereby affirming SeABank's position in the Vietnamese and international markets, as well as the trust of customers in the SeABank brand. Recently, SeABank was awarded The Bizz Award for Outstanding Enterprise by Worldcob (USA) for the fifth consecutive time, and was honored by The European Magazine (UK) in 3 award categories for sustainable governance, risk management, and e-banking.
