News, pepper price forecast tomorrow June 26, 2025

Domestic market on June 26, 2025

According to experts, domestic pepper prices tomorrow are likely to remain stable and may increase slightly. The current market lacks a boost from large orders or positive information from the international market, causing the expected price range to be between 123,000 - 125,000 VND/kg, depending on the locality and pepper quality.

Despite positive factors from some export markets such as China, the risk of a short-term price decline remains if there is no improvement in export orders. Pressure from production costs also makes it difficult for growers to achieve good profits, although prices have not fallen sharply.

International market on June 26, 2025

In the international market, pepper prices are forecast to remain stable and have a slight upward trend. Updates from the International Pepper Community (IPC) show that the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper is currently at USD 7,465/ton (up 0.7%), while Muntok white pepper is purchased at USD 10,084/ton (up 0.69%).

The Malaysian market also maintained stable prices: ASTA black pepper at USD 9,000/ton and ASTA white pepper at USD 11,750/ton. In Brazil, ASTA black pepper prices are currently stable at USD 5,850/ton.

Vietnam's pepper export prices are also stable, with 500 g/l black pepper at $5,800/ton, 550 g/l at $5,900/ton and white pepper at $8,800/ton.

In general, macroeconomic factors such as inflation, exchange rate fluctuations and import-export policies in major markets such as China and Europe will continue to affect global pepper prices in the coming time. Many farmers are still holding on to their stocks, expecting prices to recover in the third and fourth quarters of this year.
