Along with the attractive capital calls of startups, the 5 "sharks" participating in the first episode of Shark Tank Vietnam season 7 unexpectedly received letters, making many sharks unable to hold back their tears.
Appearing in Shark Tank Vietnam season 7, besides the familiar faces of shark Hung, shark Binh and shark Minh Beta, there are 2 new investors: shark Nguyen Phi Van and shark Nguyen Van Thai.

Shark Nguyen Van Thai - new face of the show
Shark Phi Van was surprised and touched when receiving a letter from someone he had never met - a startup in the Central region with sincere messages: "Thanks to the Shark Tank program, 'newbies' like us have a map to follow on the path of entrepreneurship. As a startup in the Central region, if the sharks asked me to use one word to describe the Central region, I would personally use the word poor. Although starting a business in the Central region faces many difficulties, when consumers limit spending, because of the deep love for their homeland and family, they always try to stick with the aspiration to contribute to changing the land where they were born. For startups in the Central region, standing in front of the sharks is already a great success. But the will of the people of the Central region is always great... I hope the sharks will add 3 points to the region".
Shark Thai was moved when his wife recalled the difficult early days of her entrepreneurial journey: “I remember the first day we started our business with a loaf of bread that we both shared. With little capital, at that time you often said that you would create Vietnamese cosmetic lines that were not inferior to any other country. I always remember the image of you speaking with enthusiasm and your proud eyes when you talked about your dream. Honestly, at that time I was very worried and anxious, that dream was beautiful but far away. After so much effort and tireless efforts, the current results are the clearest proof of your trust, the trust I have in you - a great partner - a great support".

Shark Minh Beta could not help but choke up when his father expressed his trust and pride and told his son to continue trying but not to let material pressure or fame weigh him down.
Mr. Bui Xuan Du, Shark Minh Beta's father, said: "I have always reminded you that no matter what you study or do, you must always stick to studying and being a good person. I remind you again so that you can continue to practice. I also want to remind you of what I told you in 2001, before you went to Australia to study: No matter where you study or what you do, you must always remember that you are Vietnamese."
Shark Pham Thanh Hung received a letter from Prague from his wife - Runner-up Thu Trang: "Just like the journey of a premium tea product must go through many steps in a harsh process, the path to becoming a person who brings value to society must also go through many trainings, challenges, accumulations, there are things that cannot be shared with anyone. But I believe that the sincerity and what you want to dedicate to the young generation will always be welcomed by the community."
Watching Shark Tank Vietnam season 7 - episode 1, the audience witnessed emotional images when the sharks read letters along with impressive capital calls from 2 startups: Seichou Machi Ramen - raising capital to expand the chain and produce frozen ramen noodles and T-Clean - raising capital to expand production and develop distribution of multi-purpose cleaning products.
Coming to Shark Tank Vietnam season 7, Nguyen Van Duy shared that the startup's development direction is to expand the chain of handmade fresh noodle shops, and at the same time produce frozen ramen noodles to serve more consumers. Receiving the offer that Shark Phi Van and Shark Binh jointly invest 2.5 billion VND in exchange for 25% of shares (each shark 12.5%), Nguyen Van Duy said he could accept this number on the condition that there is a very clear agreement on KPI, bringing the startup to the international market as well as other issues. Shark Binh immediately nodded in agreement to this offer. The capital raising deal was successfully closed.
Not to be left behind, the Thai shark also agreed to invest 3 billion VND in T-Clean in exchange for 18% of shares, concluding the first successful deal of the Thai shark right after joining the "shark tank".
