Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University Dam Vinh Hoa affirmed: 75 years ago, when President Ho Chi Minh and President Mao Zedong joined hands to sow the seeds of friendship, that friendship has now grown into a lush forest of friendship. From the sentiment of “being both comrades and brothers” to the relationship of “comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership”, from standing side by side to working together for development, Vietnam and China have written an emotional history of the community of shared future of developing countries.

Deputy Director Dam Vinh Hoa emphasized that cultural exchange between the people of the two countries has permeated every vein of the people, so the ao dai of Vietnamese girls in watercolor paintings and the oil-paper umbrella of Giang Nam, the ceramic pieces of Thang Long Imperial Citadel and the bronze objects of the Tam Tinh Doi site have created an interesting symmetry... Those cultural symbols are the civilized dialogue of the people of the two countries over thousands of years.
