Students with the "Green March" Volunteer Campaign

In early July 2025, 12 volunteer students from the People's Police University of Ho Chi Minh City were present in Thoi Son Ward, Dong Thap Province to participate in the 2025 "Green March" volunteer campaign with many meaningful activities, contributing to supporting the community and practicing practical skills.

Volunteer students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Public Security give gifts to poor households.

This is an activity to concretize the role of the youth of the People's Police University in implementing Resolution 23 dated December 30, 2024 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building the People's Public Security force in 2025.

In addition, the campaign also promotes the spirit of vanguard and responsibility of young people in participating in volunteer activities and joining hands for the community; at the same time; associated with the task of ensuring security, order and building the movement "All people protect national security", the movement "Popular digital education" from the grassroots.

Determined to achieve the campaign's goals, the student volunteers quickly integrated and proactively implemented volunteer activities for the community. The students actively participated in propaganda, guidance, and support for people to perform online public services; installed, integrated, and used the utilities of the VNeID electronic identification application; at the same time, the students also participated in environmental sanitation, supported agencies and units to relocate and stabilize operations at the new headquarters after the merger.

In particular, together with the Party Committee and Youth Union of Thoi Son Ward, students of the People's Police University participated in giving 50 gifts to poor households in the area, each gift including 10 kg of rice and daily necessities, demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love" in the community.

Along with volunteer activities, students are also enthusiastically guided and introduced to some practical tasks of the grassroots police force by officers and soldiers of Thoi Son Ward Police. Thanks to that, students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom into practice through activities such as: Issuing ID cards, electronic identification, propagating laws on security and order, etc.

With the enthusiasm of youth, students of the People's Police University in the "Green March" Campaign in 2025 have made practical contributions to helping local authorities and grassroots police forces stabilize operations in the early days of the new model.

Thereby, the campaign not only benefits the community, but also creates a favorable environment for students to practice, contribute, and mature, creating a stepping stone for the future of students when they graduate and officially enter practical work.
