Also in week 29, the whole province recorded 19 measles cases, an increase of 9 cases compared to the previous week (10 cases) and an increase of 18 cases compared to the same week in 2024 (1 case).
Currently in the rainy season, children gather to play together indoors, so diseases can easily spread, especially hand and foot diseases. Therefore, the Provincial Center for Disease Control recommends that regional health centers; commune and ward health stations need to proactively monitor and handle hand and foot disease outbreaks and communicate prevention and control measures to limit the number of hand and foot disease cases. At the same time, communication should be strengthened so that people can take their children to get vaccinated against measles on schedule and with the right dose.
