The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions met with a delegation of prestigious people from ethnic minorities in Binh Gia district.

On the afternoon of May 16, 2025, the delegation of prestigious people from Binh Gia district was led by comrade Hoang Dinh Hien, Head of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Binh Gia district, with 40 prestigious people in the delegation. This is the first delegation of prestigious people in Lang Son province to meet and work at the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions in 2025.

Working and welcoming the delegation of prestigious people in ethnic minorities of Binh Gia district, there were leaders of the Department, leaders of departments and experts of departments under the Department. At the meeting, representative of the leadership, comrade Lam Van Vien, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation of prestigious people in ethnic minorities of Binh Gia district. Along with that, general information about the process of merging, establishing a new department and putting into operation of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; reporting on some results achieved in ethnic and religious work of the province in the past time.

            At the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Department acknowledged the contributions of prestigious people in Lang Son province in general and prestigious people in Binh Gia district in particular in promoting the core role in all areas of social life, especially propaganda and mobilization work for people in their place of residence, thereby contributing to building national unity, maintaining political security and social order in the community, preserving and promoting cultural values, good traditional customs and practices among ethnic minorities.

Also at the meeting, prestigious people of Binh Gia district also expressed their hope that the Department would continue to pay attention to fully and promptly implementing policies for prestigious people and people in ethnic minority areas who still face many difficulties.
