LANG SON ETHNICITY AND RELIGION DEPARTMENT ORGANIZES A CONFERENCE TO COMMEND TYPICAL PROGRESSIVE PERIOD 2020 - 2025, DEPLOYING EMULATION MOVEMENT 2026 - 2030

On August 19, 2025, at the 3rd floor Hall, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lang Son province solemnly held a Conference to commend advanced models in the period of 2020 - 2025. Attending the Conference were comrade Pham Duc Huan, Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Department, leaders of the Department and all civil servants and employees of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the patriotic emulation movement of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions has always been maintained and developed, associated with the successful implementation of key political tasks of the province and the industry. Under the strong leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department, the emulation movement has increasingly gone into depth, creating a vibrant atmosphere, spreading in each department, office and to each cadre, civil servant and employee.

Advisory work, promulgation of documents: In the period of 2020 - 2025, 100% of directive and guiding documents related to the fields of ethnicity and religion were consulted and promulgated promptly and in accordance with regulations, contributing significantly to state management, maintaining political and social stability, and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

Propaganda and mobilization work: The Department has proactively innovated the content and methods of propaganda, closely coordinated with all levels and sectors in mobilizing ethnic minorities and religious followers. Thereby, raising awareness, creating consensus, and strengthening people's trust in the Party's policies and the State's laws.

Team building results: Every year, over 95% of the Department's civil servants and employees are assessed to have completed their tasks well and excellently; many outstanding collectives and individuals are commended at the provincial and industry levels, contributing to enhancing the prestige and position of the agency; many initiatives and good practices are applied, typically improving working style, enhancing the application of information technology in document processing, administrative reform, improving service efficiency; implementing key movements: Movements such as "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" are deployed synchronously, with many good models and creative practices.

It can be affirmed that the emulation movement in the period of 2020 - 2025 has contributed to creating a clear change in the awareness and actions of the staff, civil servants and employees of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the industry, creating a solid foundation to enter the new stage.

At the Conference, the Department Director awarded a Certificate of Merit to 01 individual (Ms. Luong Thi Hong, Chief Specialist of Policy Department) as a typical and advanced example, to recognize, honor achievements and promote good examples throughout the unit.

Based on the achieved results and at the same time drawing valuable lessons, the Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions solemnly launched the emulation movement for the period 2026 - 2030 with the motto: "Solidarity - Responsibility - Creativity - Efficiency", in which the emulation movement in the coming period focuses on the following key contents:

1. Comprehensively innovate the content and form of emulation, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, and close association with the implementation of political tasks of the agency and the province.

2. Improve the quality of advisory work in the fields of ethnicity, belief and religion; promptly grasp the grassroots situation, resolve newly arising issues, and ensure stability and sustainable development.

3. Promote administrative reform, apply digital transformation in all activities of the agency; build a scientific , professional and modern working style.

4. Building a team of civil servants with good moral qualities, strong political will, high sense of responsibility, dedicated to serving the people, worthy of the trust entrusted by the Party, State and people.

5. Discover, foster and replicate advanced models, creating a strong influence throughout the agency, contributing to building an increasingly widespread patriotic emulation movement.

6. Some emulation targets for the period 2026 - 2030

6.1. Targets for the collective

- The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions strives to receive at least 2 Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions or the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- The Office, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was awarded at least 01 time; the Policy Department was awarded 02 Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions or the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

6.2. Individual criteria

- The Department Board of Directors has at least 01 comrade who has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions or the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- At least 10 civil servants have achieved the title of "emulation soldier at the grassroots level".

- By the end of the 2026 - 2030 period, there will be at least 02 advanced models.

The emulation call of the Department Director has aroused pride, sense of responsibility, and determination to innovate in each cadre, civil servant, and employee. The atmosphere at the Conference became exciting, affirming the political determination of the entire Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions: promoting tradition, upholding the spirit of solidarity, striving to excellently complete the tasks for the period 2026 - 2030.

The conference to commend advanced models in the period of 2020 - 2025 is not only an opportunity to look back, acknowledge and honor the achievements of the past 5 years, but more importantly, it is the starting point for a new emulation movement - patriotic emulation in the period of 2026 - 2030. This is a dynamic transformation, contributing to strengthening the belief and desire to contribute, creating motivation for the collective of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lang Son to continue to contribute to the cause of rapid and sustainable development of the province.
