Soc Trang provides free examination and treatment for more than 4,000 poor people

On July 7, Soc Trang province launched a program to provide free medical examination and treatment to more than 4,000 poor and disadvantaged people.

Many people come to the medical examination and treatment program

This free examination and treatment activity will take place from July 7 to 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Area E - Soc Trang General Hospital.

The program targets more than 4,000 poor people, people in difficult circumstances, people with revolutionary contributions, sick people... who need health consultation, medical examination and treatment in Soc Trang province and neighboring localities.

Doctors and nurses provide free health examinations and consultations to people.

The scope of examination and treatment includes: ultrasound screening for congenital heart disease, general dentistry, eye examination, diabetes, goiter, gynecology, neuropsychiatry, etc. People also receive health consultation, free medication and treatment for dental and maxillofacial diseases.

This program is implemented by the medical examination team of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease, Soc Trang General Hospital, Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and related units.
